Are you ready to design your future? In this role, you will be a part of the Mining Team, based in Sudbury or North Bay, ON office. PLC, Power, Automation and instrumentation mining experience required.

Responsible for meeting firm's engineering quality levels of discipline on assigned projects.

Verifies

Designer’s work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings. Responsible for applying the EXP’s risk management practices of electrical engineering. Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.

Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.



Executes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.Perform front-end loading of Electrical systems for projects.

Evaluates Value

Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk. Edits and develops the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope. Develops electrical one-lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University. At least 6 years of experience in the mining or industrial industry. EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
