Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer with expertise in renewable energy systems to join their project development team in Kimberley . This role is pivotal in the design, development, and implementation of solar and wind power projects. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design to grid connection and commissioning.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the sustainable energy transition in the Northern Cape, working on innovative projects within a company committed to renewable energy solutions. Design and develop electrical systems for solar PV and wind energy projects, including inverters , transformers , and grid connection infrastructure. Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses for potential renewable energy sites.

Prepare detailed electrical design documentation, single-line diagrams, and specifications. Ensure designs comply with grid codes, utility requirements,



and relevant electrical standards. Oversee the electrical aspects of project construction, commissioning, and handover.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during project development and operation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Strong knowledge of power electronics, AC/DC systems , and grid integration principles.
