Do you have experience providing exceptional customer service? We have opportunities for client-focused individuals to join our Assessments department as Employer Service Centre Agents (ESCA). The Assessments department at WorkSafeBC is responsible for helping employers register for our no-fault insurance systems and maintain their accounts.

Working in our call centre, you'll support our customer service initiatives by acting as the first point of contact for employers who require assistance with their insurance coverage - answering their questions regarding coverage, registration, and payment. This is a temporary opportunity for 18 months. You’ll help ensure B.C.'s workers' compensation system is properly funded so we can serve workers and employers now and in the future.

We serve the workers and employers across B.This role is based in our Richmond office five days a week. Like everything we do, our work model continues to evolve to support those we serve. Handle incoming phone inquiries regarding employer assessments, account compliance, financial transactions, and WorkSafeBC's Online services. Collect required financial information from clients for the employer account,



which may require placing phone calls to employers Communicate via email to new employers and e-business agents who have requested assistance for online account services Investigate employer contact information for returned mail and update contact information on employer accounts Provide outstanding customer service Ability to handle incoming phone inquiries Must have good typing skills Ability to apply correct English language skills, grammar, and spelling Ability to accurately record and enter data Consent to a criminal record check We partner with workers and employers to save lives and prevent injury, disease, and disability. When work-related injuries or diseases occur, we provide compensation and support injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work.
