Driving Executive Relationships & Long Term Growth The Technical Business Developer is responsible for developing sales, driving specifications, and developing long term relationships with assigned Owners, Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPCs) accounts, Mid-Sized Contractors, and Projects. Serve as primary technical contact for assigned EPCs, contractors, owners, and projects Coordinate necessary Hilti resources, both domestic and global, required to support the key projects and EPC’s of assigned customers Execute account development strategies to ensure an increasing share of wallet and attractive return on sales Assist Capture Team in developing account and project penetration strategies and action plans by analyzing and prioritizing opportunities Secure specifications for targeted EPC’s, projects, or customers; Generate new ISB (Integrated Systems Business) standards with assigned accounts Develop and maintain contacts at all levels to understand and secure fulfillment of customer requirements Support sales team by using knowledge of owners and EPC’s to acquire technical and non-technical contacts; work with team to increase product sales for assigned projects/customers Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of key contacts within SAP Utilize SAP Mobile, CRM/CPM, and call reports to plan and manage customer development activities Develop and maintain a high level of industry and application expertise to benefit targeted customer’s projects and stakeholders Acquire information about projects and future work for customers; update capture plans, SAP and relevant documents Support other business developers and field sales team to drive the sale of technical products with assigned accounts/projects Bachelor’s degree in, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering,



or related field, required Two (2) years of experience working with engineering firms, sales, field engineering, sales management, business development, or equivalent required High level of motivation and customer focus; continuous improvement mentality required in a quick-paced results oriented environment, required Participate in the international business travel, to the United States for your initial training. Please note that any travel visa requirements will be your responsibility to obtain and need to be in hand before applying The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills sets;

experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - 110,000 with bonus at target of $18,000 - $22,000. Up to 80% both domestic and international travel, depending on the location of projects and offices. This role supports operations across Canada and requires travel, including to the Maritimes, Ontario, and Quebec. Travel requirements may evolve as business needs and project demands change.
