Perform and analyze HVDC, AC, CV, and transient electrical characterization for on-wafer and packaged GaN HEMTs
Design on-wafer test structures and automate probing stations/measurement systems for productive data acquisition
Interpret physical analysis data (SEM/TEM, thermal imaging, EDX, SIMS) to support device physics understanding and failure analysis
Coordinate characterization data with modeling teams to develop compact device models for circuit simulation
Partner with design and application engineering teams to diagnose device behavior and drive performance improvements provide technical guidance to operators, technicians, and junior engineers
Maintain characterization databases, ensure data integrity, and produce clear technical reports and documentation
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics (PhD preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor power device characterization
Strong foundation in compound semiconductor materials, GaN E-HEMT physics, and high-voltage/CV measurement techniques
Proficiency with semiconductor parameter analyzers, CV systems, and high-voltage characterization equipment
Programming/automation skills (Python, C++, LabVIEW, or MATLAB) and experience with statistical data analysis, such as Spotfire
Excellent problem-solving, technical writing, and verbal communication abilities
