English-to-French Translator – Seeking an experienced English-to-French translator for a senior-level, 1-year contract role in the insurance industry. Salaried: $40-42 per hour. ~ Incorporated Business Rate: $46-48 per hour. ~1-Year contract (maternity leave replacement). ~ Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week. ~ Translate a wide range of documents related to property and casualty (P&C;) insurance, including technical manuals, training materials, guidelines, job aids, newsletters, and software interfaces. Act as a linguistic resource, providing guidance and support to internal clients and fellow translators on a variety of topics. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure translations are accurate, explicit, and aligned with business needs.

Maintain and update translation memories and terminology databases. Manage assignments using the company’s translation project management system. Contribute to the improvement of linguistic tools and internal translation processes.





Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Linguistic Services project manager.
