About the Role

Our client requires an Environmental Services Assistant to contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities in Kimberley. This role is fundamental to ensuring a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors (if in a healthcare setting) or employees and clients. You will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties, waste management, and potentially assist with minor maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage and dispose of general waste and recycling according to established procedures.




- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies in designated locations.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report any facility issues observed.

Requirements

- Experience in a cleaning or janitorial role , preferably in a professional or institutional setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards .
- Reliability, punctuality, and a responsible attitude.
