As an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Technologist, in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, you’ll be responsible for supporting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. Perform simple to complex contaminated site investigations, including drilling assessments, groundwater monitoring, remediation activities, and reclamation activities involving: k-tests, elevation surveys, and sampling using a variety of methods (e.g., supervising a variety of drilling types in soil and bedrock (e.g., solid stem, hollow stem, etc.) and installing GW monitoring wells supervising remedial excavations and trucking, confirmatory sampling, and operating remediation systems supervising reclamation equipment and performing reclamation assessments on agricultural land Supervise and coordinate field contractors and equipment for a variety of projects Collaborate with project managers and technical advisors and communicate project progress, execution, and scope changes Manage project related timelines and budgets Learn, understand, and apply Alberta and Saskatchewan regulations related to assessment, remediation, and reclamation of oil and gas sites and ensure regulatory requirements are met as part of project execution This role will require approximately 85% of time to be in the field.
