- Perform environmental fieldwork, including sampling of groundwater, surface water, potable water, and sediments
- Coordinate and carry out environmental drilling and test pit programs, including geotechnical and integrated geo-environmental fieldwork
- Document field activities, compile data, and prepare technical reports using established templates
- Prepare laboratory chains of custody, maintain detailed field records, and coordinate sample submissions to laboratories
- Manage, maintain, and operate field equipment, including calibration, charging, and routine maintenance
- Apply regulatory requirements and guidelines related to excess soils, contaminated sites, and environmental compliance
- Support project execution through required administrative tasks, including timesheet completion. Hold post-secondary education in Environmental Sciences, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience); ~0 to 3 years experience as an environmental consultant in environmental drilling and test pitting,



collection of soil and groundwater samples required; ~ Reporting experience in Phase I/One and II/Two ESAs, Excess Soil Management would be an asset; ~ Understanding of and/or ability to learn technical laboratory and field-testing procedures required; ~ Be eligible to obtain Federal Government security clearance; active Reliability or Secret clearance is considered a strong asset; ~ Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements in field environments; ~ Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable personal vehicle; ~ Be available to work outdoors in field environments year-round, typically 3–5 days per week, with flexibility for schedule changes, travel, and occasional overtime; ~ Travel locally and as required, provincially or nationally to urban and remote project sites. - A confidential employee assistance program for you and your family. The salary range for this position is $47,934$ to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks.
