You'll coordinate work orders, support preventative maintenance planning, and partner closely with operations managers to ensure equipment readiness. Drive a Health & Safety culture and ensure policies and procedures are followed, and accident investigations conducted Supervise Industrial Mechanics and outside contractors on repairs, ongoing improvements, and shutdown planning and execution Lead improvement of Maintenance Best Practices and plant operating practices Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement Data collection and analysis, including financial analysis of potential and active projects Ensuring projects are in control and measuring savings Training and development of apprentices Coach maintenance team on JDI values and work assignments Trade Certification or Associate's Degree in a related technical field Mechanical knowledge and experience in industry is mandatory Hands on experience with predictive and preventative maintenance practices Project management and prioritization skills is required Experience with Microsoft Office and JD Edwards E1 are an asset Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Exposure to a manufacturing facility is considered an asset Strong time management and organizational skills Lean Six Sigma training is considered an asset We are committed to creating accessible environments for our colleagues,
