Conduct an initial equipment inspection to ensure machinery is secure and ready for the day’s tasks Adjust operations based on changing conditions or shifting project needs Help organize the materials and equipment needed for specific tasks (e.g., Help enforce on-the-job safety practices for crew members Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, cooperating with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways Set up barriers, warning signs, and flags to protect both employees and the public, while being trained to perform tree and bucket rescues Ensure equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift Report on the job progress, site conditions, and any issues that arise Perform fertilization tasks, including root injection for trees and soap application for insect control Comply with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures Occasional travel outside of the office may be required Works around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment Grapple truck experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating systemsExperience with Apple-based products Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies Ability to read,
