Standard Bus Contracting is seeking a part-time Dispatcher to join our team in Terrace. In this key position, you’ll be integral to the day-to-day operations, handling driver communications, scheduling, and routing to ensure efficient service. Shift details: Split shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 10:00 am and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Wage: $26.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Provide tactful and qualified phone assistance Plan, organize and respond to route, fleet, and operator issues and advise on company safety policies and procedures Coordinate the activities of drivers, supervisors,



and fleet units using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment Work independently to resolve customer/passenger issues in a professional and friendly manner Administrative duties as required (payroll, filing, and reports) Desired Requirements: Possess strong organizational skills including time management, multitasking, and remaining calm in a hectic work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in the transportation industry is an asset Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook and confidence in using database systems Must have previous experience in administrative duties
