Join ILSC's Residential Juniors Program at UBC as an ESL Instructor in Vancouver. Engage with students aged 10-17 through effective and diverse teaching methodologies. This part-time position runs from June 29 to August 7, 2026, with essential pre-program training from June 22-26, 2026.

In this role, instructors will deliver 15 instructional hours weekly, focusing on student engagement and language development in a friendly environment. Applicants should possess solid teaching abilities in accordance with the ILSC guidelines. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute lesson plans tailored to students’ needs
- Conduct 15 hours of English lessons each week
- Monitor and evaluate student learning and attendance
- Create a supportive atmosphere for all students
- Collaborate with the Centre Director and attend meetings

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and recognized TESL certificate
- Experience with younger learners (ages 10-17)
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Complete a criminal record check
- Union membership required
