The Estimator and Proposal Manager is responsible for preparing technical and commercial bids for turnkey hydroelectric projects. He works in collaboration with different specialists and ensures completeness and the quality of the submissions. Analyze the plans, specifications, commercial and technical clauses of the calls for tender
- Participate in the bid strategy, project risk assessment and clarifications
- Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and subcontractors and follow up on responses
- Contribute to the preparation of the risk and prospect matrix
- Create the preliminary project schedule, the critical path and the manpower curve
- Perform technical and financial calculations, cashflow forecasts, "WBS" and budget cost coding
- Write certain sections of the proposals both in French and English
- Establish the winning strategy with the agreement of senior management, validate it as an appropriate strategy and ensure that it is followed by team members
- Submit the offer and participate in negotiations with the customer

your perseverance will be valued with us. Mechanical or Civil Engineering Technology diploma
- Fluency in French and English languages
- Project Management skills - ability to handle multiple complex tasks daily
- Commercial contract knowledge and strong negotiation skills
