Role Description

We are looking for one Event Greeter for our Young at Heart Seniors Expo on October 7, 2026 and Hiring & Education Expo on October 8, 2026, located Prestige Vernon Lodge & Conference Centre, Vernon, BC.

Event Greeter will welcome attendees, provide event information, and assist with registration and directions as needed. They will ensure a positive experience for all attendees by delivering excellent customer service and acting as a helpful, approachable point of contact. The role may also include managing visitor flow, answering inquiries,



and contributing to an efficient and pleasant event experience.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
- Exceptional customer service and customer experience skills
- Skilled phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries with care
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Availability to work on-site at events in Vernon, BC
- Previous experience in event roles or customer-facing position is required

Wage: $18.25/hour
