The position requires a strong understanding of the social development sector, including government rural development programs, community institutions, local governance systems, and development challenges affecting vulnerable and underserved communities. The role holder is expected to work closely with internal teams, implementation partners, community stakeholders, government agencies, and other relevant institutions to ensure that CSR projects are planned, executed, monitored, and documented in a qualified, compliant, and impact-oriented manner.
A key expectation of the role is sound knowledge of CSR law, applicable rules, internal CSR processes, and documentation requirements. The role holder should be able to interpret CSR-related guidelines, support due diligence, assist in proposal review, track compliance requirements, and ensure that projects are aligned with the approved thematic areas, budgets, timelines, and reporting expectations. This includes maintaining awareness of statutory provisions, Board-approved CSR priorities, reporting formats, partner documentation, fund utilization norms, and project closure requirements.
The person should demonstrate the ability to translate policy and compliance requirements into workable field-level processes without compromising the quality or intent of the intervention.
The role involves active participation in the complete project cycle, including need assessment, project design, budgeting, partner coordination,

The role holder should possess strong skills in social project and program management, with the ability to convert development needs into practical project plans with clear objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, milestones, and indicators. The person should be comfortable reviewing project proposals, preparing implementation plans, coordinating with multiple teams, tracking physical and financial progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely corrective action wherever required.
The position requires strong community organization and facilitation skills. The role holder should be able to engage with community members, local groups, institutions, and implementing partners in a respectful, inclusive, and solution-oriented manner. This includes facilitating meetings, supporting participatory discussions, overseeing inter-group processes, encouraging community ownership, and ensuring that the voices of intended beneficiaries are considered during planning and implementation.
The role also demands critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and the ability to respond constructively to field-level challenges, implementation delays, stakeholder concerns, or changes in local conditions.
Supportive supervision is an important part of the role. The role holder should be capable of guiding field teams, NGO partners, volunteers, and other project stakeholders through regular interaction, review, mentoring, and feedback. The person should support teams in improving implementation quality, resolving operational issues, maintaining records, and achieving agreed outputs.
Networking skills are equally important, as the role may involve interaction with government departments, local authorities, educational institutions, health agencies, community-based organizations, technical experts, and civil society partners. The ability to build constructive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and accountability is essential.
