Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for overall leadership, strategic planning, and operational management of the self-employed venture. Day-to-day tasks include setting organizational goals, overseeing budgets and financial performance, and managing projects and initiatives to meet business objectives.

The Executive

Director will cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders, as well as coordinate vendors or contractors as needed. The role includes monitoring performance metrics,



ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and continuously improving processes and services. This position requires hands-on involvement in both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in executive leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial oversight, and basic accounting principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Experience with business development, marketing, or client service to support growth.
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations and best practices in small business or self-employed operations.
- Post-secondary education in business, management, or a related field is an asset, or equivalent practical experience.
