Inside Sales Representative – Transportation Solutions Location: Calgary, AB (in-office) Full-time, permanent Sales & Business Development Steele's Transfer Ltd. is a Western Canadian less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier, moving our customers' shipments through our Calgary and Edmonton terminals. We combine the reach of an established terminal network with the responsiveness of a company that still knows its customers by name — and we're growing. We're expanding our sales team and looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative to sell our transportation and logistics solutions to businesses across Alberta.

This is a desk-based, quota-carrying sales role: you'll own inbound quote requests, prospect for new accounts, and close new business. This is a true selling role — not administrative support. It's ideal for someone who's motivated by targets, comfortable picking up the phone, and looking for a transparent path to grow with the company.

Prospect and generate new opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and outreach campaigns, and qualify inbound web and phone inquiries.



Consult with prospects to understand their shipping needs and position Steele's LTL services as the right solution. Reactivate dormant accounts and grow share-of-wallet with existing customers.

Keep your pipeline clean and current in our CRM, and work closely with Operations and Pricing to onboard new customers smoothly. 2+ years in inside sales, customer service, or a logistics/transportation environment (LTL or freight experience an asset). ~ Strong communication and relationship-building skills. ~ Comfort with CRM systems, email outreach tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). ~ Diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing, logistics, or a related field preferred.
