We are seeking an Intermediate Facilitator Consultant to support engagement with partners and stakeholders, including provincial and territorial governments, ministerial advisory bodies, and leaders of National Indigenous Organizations. The consultant will design and facilitate virtual and in-person meetings, provide advisory and reporting services, and support advisory forums and ministerial-level roundtables. This role supports effective, inclusive dialogue to advance biodiversity, conservation, and species-at-risk priorities. 3+ years of experience (6+ projects) working for Indigenous organizations or groups (Inuit, First Nations, and/or Métis) within the last 10 years.
~5+ projects within the last 5 years facilitating meetings/conversations that address nature, biodiversity, or natural resource management. ~8+ projects within the last 10 years coordinating and facilitating meetings or discussions between any combination of Indigenous peoples, stakeholders, federal government officials, and officials of other levels of government, including elected officials. ~4 projects within the last 5 years delivering products/services in the virtual setting, using platforms such as MS Teams or Zoom. ~This is a 5-year, part-time, hybrid contract.
