Senior Financial
Analyst to join our energetic finance team.
The Senior Financial
Analyst is a strategic business partner who helps operational leaders continually drive improvement in operational business performance through financial insight, analytics, and performance reporting. This role goes beyond traditional accounting by translating data into actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, profitability, resource allocation, and operational performance. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support key organizational objectives and have key responsibilities such as: Identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities using financial and operational data.
Analyze profitability by product, customer, channel, region, and business unit. Develop financial models, scenario analyses,
and business cases for strategic initiatives and capital investments. Recommend process improvements that improve scalability, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Participate as the Finance SME on finance related technology implementations and process improvement projects from initiation through completion. This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 – $95,000 CAD depending on experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, management accounting, or business analytics.
Proven ability to partner, operate, and influence Senior Executives (C/VP Level) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities. Oracle experience is required.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM data is required.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar BI tools is considered an asset.
