We are partnering with a well-established commercial property management firm to identify a Property Accountant to support a portfolio of industrial and commercial assets. This role is ideal for someone with ~2+ years of property accounting experience who is looking to grow within commercial real estate. Reporting to senior accounting and property management leaders, the Property Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties and act as the key accounting contact for internal stakeholders.

Prepare month-end financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis Process management fees, rent rolls, tenant billings, and recoveries (CAM & taxes) Prepare tax filings and remittances (GST/PST, non-resident tax) Support cash flow reporting,



distributions, budgets, and forecasts Review AR/AP, assist with tenant inquiries, and ensure accurate coding Maintain lease data and recovery matrices within property management systems Assist with recent property setup, dispositions, and special projects as needed Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field Minimum 2 years of property management accounting experience CPA designation or progress toward CPA considered an asset Strong Excel and general MS Office skills #
