At Flight

Centre, our Travel Consultants spend their days having meaningful customer conversations, converting enquiries into bookings, and working toward clear sales targets while earning commission on every sale. You will work in a rapid paced, customer facing retail environment where personality, performance, and customer experience all matter. You will be learning multiple systems, navigating a wide range of products, and managing high volume customer conversations, all while building confidence in a dynamic retail environment.

As a Travel Consultant, you will work full time, on site in one of our retail stores on a rotating roster across a 7 day trade.

This is a target driven sales role where success is measured through KPIs, revenue, conversion, and customer satisfaction. You will take ownership of the customer journey from first enquiry through to booking and follow up, selling complete travel solutions - not just flights. Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations Sell end to end travel solutions including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers, and travel insurance Build a loyal base of new and repeat customers - from simple domestic trips to complex international holidays Manage multiple customers and communication channels at once (in-store, phone, email)



in a fast-paced retail environment You balance great customer experience with delivering results Minimum 2 years’ experience in travel sales Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing, target-driven sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and upselling products or services Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone High attention to detail and strong computer skills, with confidence using multiple, complex systems International travel experience High school diploma or higher Availability to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Clear performance metrics and transparent earning potential Industry travel discounts and opportunities to experience the products you sell A performance driven team environment that celebrates results and development We understand that our people are our most valuable asset.
