We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse or production facility while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products and materials
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
- Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and warehouse organization
- Follow company safety procedures and workplace policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Ensure products are handled carefully to avoid damage
Requirements:
- Valid forklift license/certification
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, or Order Picker forklifts
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory procedures
