Your role will focus on nurturing children aged 3 months to 5 years in a supportive environment. In this full time position, you will actively engage with children at the Child Care Centre, meeting their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Open communication with parents and participation in various initiatives are essential to fostering a thriving community. Create a nurturing, enjoyable, and professional atmosphere for both children and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise children during activities to ensure safety
- Foster emotional and intellectual development through play
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians
- Participate in educational and promotional initiatives
- Uphold confidentiality regarding staff and program matters

Requirements:

- Level 1, 2, or 3 in Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Criminal reference check and child abuse registry check
- Experience with children ages 3 months to 5 years
- Attend YMCA Child Protection Training
