As one of our founding team members, you'll have a unique opportunity to help shape the culture, build meaningful connections within the local outdoor community, and bring MEC's purpose and values to life from day one in one of the world's most iconic mountain destinations. Whether members are planning their first camping trip, gearing up for a multi-day backcountry adventure, or heading out for a weekend ride, you’ll use your outdoor experience and product expertise to help them find the right gear and feel confident getting outside. You’ll work alongside people who genuinely love the outdoors and care about helping others enjoy it too.

The Inventory
Specialist role is a frontline position that is focused on driving inventory excellence and customer service. The position works to improve in-store inventory accuracy by conducting counts, audits, record keeping, and processing inbound and outbound shipments.
Customer service:
The Inventory Specialist position is required to provide flexibility to complete customer service tasks and shifts when the business needs demand it.
Inventory Management: Enter inventory adjustments for the store on a daily basis. Responsible for executing shipping and receiving tasks including but not limited to: Ensure all the records relating to inventory adjustments, outbound/inbound shipments, store location management (offsite/rentals/demo etc.) Inventory (trade) Purchase Order receiving. Full, open availability five (5) days a week including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

This position will have customer facing activities and back of house activities to be determined by the store management team and the needs of the business.
