We are currently seeking a full time, in office Construction Project Manager at BUILD IT.

The Construction Project

Manager will oversee the execution and management of construction projects, ensuring that budgets are managed, safety standards are met, and all project activities are efficiently executed. Possess 5–7 years of experience managing construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and invoicing within the commercial sector. Post-secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or a related fieldis preferred.

Additional certifications such asPMP or BCINis an asset. Solid understanding of construction financials and cost management. In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.

Experience in construction management with proficiency in Procore and MS Project, and ability to lead diverse teams. Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes,



and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects to meet scope, schedule, and client specifications.

Budget Control: Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting and accountability.

Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Quality Assurance: Inspect sites to ensure work meets high-quality standards and client expectations.

Risk Mitigation: Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Permitting & Compliance: Secure required permits and ensure alignment with building codes and regulations.

Documentation Management: Use tools like Procore to track and log project data, including reports, RFIs, and approvals.

Mentorship & Strategic Planning: believe it's the little details that make for an exceptional customer experience. This is a new headcount added to support our growing business needs. Our organization may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) or algorithm-assisted systems, to support the initial review of applications.
