About the facility: The Licensed Group Home is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Cognitive, Mental and Physical Disabilities that require 24/7 care.

About the position: Working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, Personal Care Workers support and supervise individuals with physical abilities; use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities; prepare and serve meals as planned; administer prescribed medications

- Duties:



~ Support and supervise individuals with physical disabilities; ~ Use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities, recreational and other services; ~ Prepare and serve meals as planned; ~ Assess needs of residents on an on‑going basis; ~ Maintain sanitation of Group Home; ~12- hour shift with rotating schedule; ~ Other duties as assigned by supervisor;

Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12

- Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Aide or Home Health Aide Certificate or equivalent is preferred
- Certified First Aide & CPR and Secure Food Handling Certificate required or willing to obtain
- Previous home care or childcare experience is an preferred;

Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset

- Valid Driver’s License preferred. Combination of Education and Experience may be considered; on the job training will be provided.
