Aspira Peninsula Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated Recreation Assistant and Driver for its Surrey location. In this full-time role, you'll provide essential support to seniors while facilitating enjoyable activities and trips. This permanent position includes 75 hours bi-weekly, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of residents.

As a Recreation Assistant/Driver, your responsibilities will include transporting residents to outings, setting up social events, and helping monitor their engagement. Your efforts will help foster a sense of community and connection in the retirement home. Key Responsibilities:

- Transport residents for trips, shopping, and events
- Organize activity areas and assist residents when required




- Track residents' progress and interests for program tailoring
- Encourage social interaction via planned activities
- Keep detailed records of programs and feedback

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in recreation or related area
- Valid Class 4 or equivalent Driver’s License
- Proven experience with seniors and leisure motivation
- Robust computer skills and understanding of leisure principles
- Successful completion of background checks
