Child and Family Development Placement: Full-time Reports to: child care supervisor To build healthy, strong, connected communities through nurturing environments for children. Provide personal care to children, including but not limited to toileting/diaper changing, providing first aid, administering medication, monitoring dietary, allergies & medical conditions Actively engage with children and always ensure supervision and safety of children in a group setting of up to 15 children independently Provide an inclusive workplace, supporting the needs of all children, including those with exceptional behaviours and additional needs Up-to-date immunizations or equivalent in accordance with local public health and Child Care Early Years Act Availability requirement s: Monday to Friday, 37.5-40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:00am & 6:00pm, may include split-shifts Passion for working with children and providing quality play-based learning Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills with families, staff and volunteers and participate in physical activities Ability to work outdoors for at least 2 hours daily year-round, in all weather conditions Complimentary access to virtual and/or in-person opportunities promoting health and fitness ~ Employee & Family Assistance Program ~ Work life balance that offers most evenings and weekends free; H ealth, Rx,
