As an Operations Lead, you embody a whole-store mindset and are integral to supporting the Store Leadership team. You play a critical role in facilitating meaningful experiences for both customers and team members, and inform and energize our teams to do their best work and contribute to operational excellence. Ensure the store complies with Apple values and policies, such as privacy and environmental initiatives, while maintaining a culture of operational excellence.
Gather, interpret, and share data with the leadership team to strategize, recognize successes, and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage preservation work order tasks and supply budget in compliance with Apple standards. Ensure all applicable health and safety standards are being met, including maintenance and testing of life-safety and health systems.
Coordinate partnership with the Operations team and Technology and Merchandising Pro to ensure store technology and demos meet Apple Retail standards. Energize, inform, and align team members with store performance goals, priorities, and communication. Address time-sensitive team member feedback, questions, and concerns, escalating issues to Store Leadership as appropriate.
Address operational needs including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and overrides. Contribute to an inclusive setting by respecting differences and demonstrating Apple's values of inclusion and diversity. Available to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Able to lift and carry product to various locations within and near the store.
Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience. Proficient in written and spoken English. Ability to motivate others to achieve performance goals through open dialogue, collaboration, and recognition. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative without close supervision. Basic understanding of business productivity software such as Numbers or Excel. proficiency in written and spoken English;
