Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for machining all gates from the casting.

When the casting is received from pre-inspection, perform a visual check to ensure all sell material has been removed and validate the router.

- Use a conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.
- Use required fixturing for the specific castings and inspect fixtures for damage and compliance.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Respect the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respect the Setting, Health & Safety programs of the company.

Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Ability to use a conventional milling machine.
- Ability to handle hoists.
- Visual dexterity.
- Manual dexterity.
- Physical standing all day.
- Uses sound judgment.

High School Diploma or equivalent machining training.
