Le ou la gestionnaire du centre de distribution (GCD) assure la gestion globale des opérations de l’entrepôt et de la cour en mettant l’accent sur la satisfaction de la clientèle, la sécurité, l’efficacité opérationnelle et l’amélioration continue.
Superviser et exécuter les opérations de distribution selon les normes établies. Veiller au respect des règles de santé et sécurité au travail. Gérer, mobiliser et développer l’équipe du centre de distribution.
Planifier les horaires et approuver les feuilles de temps. Améliorer la performance du personnel par le coaching et l’encadrement. Suivre et gérer les indicateurs de performance (KPI). Contrôler les niveaux d’inventaire et l’exactitude des stocks.
Assurer la conformité aux pratiques et politiques internes. Coordonner la formation des employés. Faciliter la communication entre les départements et partenaires. Coordonner les réparations et l’entretien des installations et équipements.
Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue. Mettre à jour les rapports de performance. Diplôme d’études collégiales dans un domaine pertinent ou expérience équivalente.
Compétences techniques et expérience ~ Excellentes habiletés de communication écrite et verbale en français. ~3 à 5 années d’expérience en gestion d’équipe. ~ Expérience avec SAP EWM. ~ Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook. ~ Excellentes aptitudes en gestion de processus et en analyse de données. ~ Gestion du changement. Mentalité d’amélioration continue. Collabore quotidiennement avec les équipes HSE, achats, service à la clientèle, transport, ressources humaines, production et autres fonctions de la chaîne d’approvisionnement afin d’assurer l’alignement des priorités et l’efficacité opérationnelle.
Travail effectué dans un environnement combinant bureau, entrepôt et cour extérieure. Présence fréquente sur le plancher de l’entrepôt avec périodes prolongées de marche, de station debout ou de déplacements. Port obligatoire des équipements de protection individuelle requis, notamment lunettes de sécurité, chaussures de sécurité, gilet haute visibilité et gants au besoin.

Distribution Center
Manager (DCM) Responsible for ensuring the warehouse and yard operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as the primary objective. This role provides leadership for distribution operations, inventory management, logistics, safety, and team performance while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Supervise and participate in distribution operations in accordance with established service and quality standards. Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements for employees, contractors, carriers, and visitors. Lead, develop, coach, and manage the distribution centre team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational results. Set employee goals, conduct performance reviews, and support ongoing development. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, service, and operational effectiveness. Manage inventory accuracy through physical counts and reconciliation processes. Prepare and manage annual budgets, expenditures, and variance analyses. Collaborate with warehouse and yard leaders to analyze productivity and implement loss prevention initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, C-TPAT requirements, transportation management systems, and corporate standards. Coordinate employee training programs in accordance with company standards and legal requirements. Oversee facility and equipment maintenance activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution network. Prepare and maintain operational performance reports. College diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Technical Skills &
Experience ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French. ~unionized environment experience is considered an asset. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
~ Solid process management and analytical skills. ~ Experience with RF systems and SAP is considered an asset. Positive leadership and project management capabilities. Work is performed in a combination of warehouse, yard, and office environments. Employee may be exposed to a moderate to considerable level of workplace hazards, including moving machinery, powered industrial vehicles, noise, repetitive movements, and industrial products. Employee may occasionally be exposed to loud sounds and outdoor weather conditions while working in the yard or loading areas. Role requires regular walking throughout the facility, periods of standing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) may include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vests, and other equipment as required. The role involves managing multiple priorities, operational deadlines, staffing challenges, and customer service expectations, which may create moderate to high levels of mental stress and attention demands.
