West Fraser Chetwynd Forest Industries Woodlands team has an opportunity for a GIS Analyst in Chetwynd. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the GIS Analyst will take on a key role in strategic and operational forest management planning. Maintenance & quality control of spatial data in The Land Resource Manager (LRM) for the Woodlands Department Prepare & submit digital data to government to provided standards Work with Woodlands team on mapping, reporting, and analytical projects Support Woodlands team with LRM and GIS tasks Work with other licensees and consultants to ensure data exchange standards are maintained Graduation from an accredited post-secondary GIS program or Forestry program Strong analytic and project management skills Experience using ESRI Products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcSDE and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise) and FME Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, in particular Oracle database Experience with programming and/or scripting languages such as C#, Python, or Arcade Considered an Asset: Familiarity with data management systems such as the Land Resource Manager (LRM).
