Guest Experience Associate - Weekend Warrior

Availability: Must be available Weekends

Type: Part Time 15 to 30 hours

We’re looking for the newest member of our Guest Experience Team! Do you strive to create excellent customer service for guests and be part of a growing and evolving team all while working in the rainforest? Then look no further.

Join the Squamish Canyon Guest Experience Team and help create memorable experiences for visitors at Squamish's newest eco-attraction. Working on site in the forest, Squamish Canyon team members create memorable experiences for visitors and locals alike.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.

- Answer questions and provide information about attractions, services, and policies.

- Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when needed.

- Promote a positive and inclusive guest experience.

- Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Squamish Canyon.

- Additional duties as needed

Admissions & Operations
- Process ticket sales and payments accurately.

- Handle cash, reconcile tills, and maintain transaction records.

- Maintain organized guest services documentation and tracking systems.

- Keep ticketing and guest-facing areas clean, organized, and welcoming.





- Collaborate with internal teams, tour operators, and external partners.

- Support daily operational tasks and assist in other departments as required.

Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about customer service.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with computers, cash handling, POS systems, and basic math.

- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills.

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, admissions, or tourism is an asset.

- Willingness to complete a Criminal Record Check.

- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Work Environment
- Outdoor, guest-facing role in varying weather conditions.

- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.

- May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and use step stools or ladders.
