We are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR professional to lead and manage all human resources operations for our diverse business units, including a unionized sawmill, in the Southern NB Region and Truro NS. As a key member of the HR Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in driving our people strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and fostering a positive and inclusive work setting. As a key member of the HR Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in driving our people strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Lead and manage the HR team, providing strategic direction and guidance. Ensure policies, procedures and programs are effectively implemented and consistently applied to support business objectives.

Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions.



Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring a talented and diverse workforce for the region. Manage employee relations, including performance management, discipline and conflict resolution.

Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with overall business goals. Travel to Truro, Nove Scotia as required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR management role, preferably in a manufacturing or forestry industry setting. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and labor relations. Analytical mindset with proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies.

Experience in talent acquisition, performance management and employee relations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. #
