Elevate safety standards at Rubicon Organics as a Health and Safety Manager in Delta, BC. Lead initiatives that shape a solid safety culture while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee health and safety functions for a team of over 300 employees.

This leadership role focuses on the continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) while promoting a proactive and compliant workplace. You will ensure every operational area integrates safety principles into daily practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Own and enhance the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Lead health and safety strategy execution across departments
- Develop and coach the Safety Advisor and safety teams




- Ensure compliance with legislative health and safety requirements
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain safety integrity

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- 7–10 years of progressive health and safety experience
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements and audit readiness
- Experience in manufacturing or cannabis environments preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
