In partnership with the Ministryof Children and Family Development (MCFD), we are expanding our specializedgroup home in Parksville to support individuals with limited mobility. We’reseeking Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) to provide compassionate,high-quality care in a homelike setting—helping people live with dignity andindependence while creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy.

As a Health Care Support Worker,you’ll work directly in a live-in group home setting, supporting individualswith limited mobility in both their daily care and community participation.



Provide personal care, lifts,transfers, and health support for individuals with mobility needs -Operate an adaptedwheelchair-accessible van for safe community access -Support individuals with daily livingactivities, recreation, and skill development -Respond to challenging situations usingcrisis intervention and risk management strategies -Build strong,respectful relationships with supported individuals, families, and colleagues You will be a steady presencein the home, helping individuals feel safe, empowered, and cared for. and/or work experience with persons with diverse-abilities and/or other relevant experience. -A genuine desire and ability to support individuals with diverse-abilities, promoting dignity, independence, individuality. -Must be in good health with the physicalability to carry out the duties of the position and shift responsibilities. RCMP Criminal Record Check & MCFDHub Screening (employer facilitated). -First Aid and CPR, Food Safe Level 1. -Immunization record, TB Screen, and Physician's Declaration.
