We are seeking an HSE Advisor! McKay Métis Contracting, an entity of McKay Métis Group, is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor. Reporting to the Senior Manager of HSE, the HSE Advisor is responsible for providing support to operations, guiding site staff with respect to company and client safety practices, policies, procedures, and legislative obligations.

Provide HSE on call support as assigned Knowledge and implementation of required reporting procedures relating to OH&S; Legislation and WCB Regulations as well as clients’ procedures Provide assistance with internal HSE training and mentorship Process, co-ordinate and maintain employee HSE records Participate in toolbox meetings, safety meetings, client HSE meetings – as required, emergency response planning, and field inspections Prepare and present HSE meeting topics Maintain and report all site HSE documentation as required CRSP considered an asset Post secondary education in a related field CSO, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive,



WHMIS Valid Class 5 license with clean Driver’s Abstract Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction and mining workplace Experience with Microsoft Office required Monday – Friday, 8-hour days, 40 hours/week, varying start times. The shift can change, with applicable notice, based on operational effectiveness.
