HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS – RED SEAL HEAVY DUTY OR COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT MECHANICS

Emcon Services Inc. is a Canadian-based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial Road and Bridge Maintenance Contractor. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport Mechanic, or to partner with us in our Employer Sponsorship program in partnership with the ITA to become a Red Seal Journeyman HD Mechanic.

Responsibilities

This position is part of a team that maintains an equipment fleet of graders, loaders, sweepers, trucks, and winter maintenance attachments. Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs are an asset. The role requires maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy equipment on a daily basis.

Qualifications





- Valid BC Driver’s License; Class 3 preferred with a positive driving record.
- Certified Trade Journeyman in Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport, or demonstrated aptitude and interest in working on heavy equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing job requirements.
- CVI Certification would be an asset; training available.
