Become a vital High Risk Coordinator with Victim Services of Waterloo Region, focusing on Intimate Partner Violence and elevated safety risks. This full time, on-site role emphasizes trauma-informed support and police collaboration. As part of the Victim Services of Waterloo Region (VSWR), you will coordinate the Mobile Tracking System (MTS) Program, enabling victim-centered support for high-risk clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong crisis intervention skills, at least three years of direct service experience, and a post-secondary degree in Social Work or a related field. Your focus will be on comprehensive risk assessments, individualized service plans, and essential partnerships within the Family Violence Project. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Mobile Tracking System Program with rigorous intake management
- Provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and support services
- Conduct validated risk assessments for client safety needs
- Develop tailored service plans to support diverse individual needs
- Facilitate multidisciplinary case discussions for coordinated care
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum three years’ experience in crisis intervention
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and safety planning
- Valid G Class Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle
