Are you passionate about helping high school students build confidence in English, strengthen their writing skills, and achieve academic success?

We are looking for in-home, in-person High School English Tutors to support students throughout North Toronto and Downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and skilled at creating engaging, personalized learning experiences. Qualified candidates will have experience tutoring or teaching high school English and be comfortable providing in-home, in-person instruction, with the option to support students online as needed.

Familiarity with the Ontario secondary English curriculum (Grades 9-12) is essential. As a Prep Academy Tutor, You Will Empower students with personalized academic support aligned with the Ontario secondary English curriculum. Help students strengthen their reading comprehension, literary analysis, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills.

confidence, and academic growth.

Hold current, valid registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Are a certified teacher in Canada or the United States (or are in the process of becoming one). Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program. S. college or university.

Experience teaching or tutoring high school English (Grades 9-12). Strong knowledge of the Ontario English curriculum. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to students' homes in North Toronto and Downtown Toronto. A passion for helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop lifelong literacy skills.
