Amrize is seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker to maintain and improve highways in Northern Alberta. This full time role emphasizes snow removal and equipment operation, ensuring public safety. In this position, you’ll execute 12-hour shifts both day and night throughout the year.
Responsibilities cover highway inspections, operating snow plow trucks, and performing necessary manual tasks such as crack sealing and sign repairs.
Your role also demands adherence to safety standards and participation in safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess road conditions and report deficiencies
- Operate snow removal equipment effectively
- Perform manual repairs and maintenance tasks
- Service equipment according to safety guidelines
- Document administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of truck driving experience
- Valid Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
- Openness to working in remote Alberta locations
