The Shift

Supervisor will inspire, lead, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver on the company objective of excellent proactive service to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Working at the World Duty-Freeat Vancouver International Airport Your Team is counting on you as a Shift Supervisor to: Provide flexibility to work anyshift(Weekdays, Weekends & Holidays) Selling and customer experience, team and service management, and product and presentation management Promote quality customer service among staff by acting as a positive role model Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance and service, motivating, and developing staff Analyze sales data to set sales goals and implement sales programs to meet targets Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all assets Ensure that the store is in compliance with all Airport, Provincial,



and Federal employment laws/regulations Oversee inventory counting at the end of the shift and conduct staff bag checks Reconciliation of cash, card, and bank deposits Organize and coordinate shift plans. 3+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leader role within the luxury retail/service industry ~ Proficient in MS Excel and adaptable to other systems as required ~ Strong working knowledge of retail operations, including cash and inventory control, markdown compliance, merchandise handling, and shrink management ~ Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays ~ It is the Company’s policy to ensure equal employment chance in all aspects of employment and to comply with anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
