You will work hands-on with those at risk of homelessness, facilitating connections to housing resources while addressing multiple barriers that hinder stability. Collaborating closely with local agencies, you will play a vital role in the community's response to homelessness. Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with vulnerable individuals in community settings
- Assist clients in understanding housing and related systems
- Engage with shelters and supportive housing services
- Coordinate the HEART response team for rapid support
- Actively work to minimize and resolve encampments
Requirements:
- High school diploma and additional training in relevant fields
- Proven experience with homelessness and crisis management
- Valid Class 5 BC driver's license and vehicle access
- Completion of Tier 4 Criminal Record Check prior to hiring
- Eligibility to work legally in Canada
