Hospital Security Guard – Full time, On-Call Rotation(Healthcare) Are you looking for a rewarding career in the security industry, where you can apply your amazing communication and de-escalation skills to help others? We are looking for friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at a variety of healthcare facilities in Red Deer and surrounding areas.

This includes hospitals, private clinics, long-term care facilities, and more. This position works a 7 on, 7 off rotation, alternating between days and nights (1 week of days, 1 week off followed by 1 week of nights, 1 week off).

On Call Security

Guards are guaranteed a base rate during all on call hours. This rate jumps to the site-specific rate when called out to shifts, which happens nearly every day. Mileage is compensated when traveling more than 50km one-way from the employee's base location.

Our industry-leading Healthcare managers provide 24-hour support for our employees, with an emphasis on proactively minimizing risks and responding to incidents with real-time guidance.

A day in the life of a Healthcare Security Guard: Provide access control in/out of the facility, as well as within restricted areas of the facility. Conduct patrols of the facility, monitoring for risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and general security breaches. Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
