Hotels is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Manager to join our growing hospitality team. This position may be based at any Vantage Hotels location and offers an exciting opportunity for a housekeeping leader who is passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

The Housekeeping

Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the housekeeping department, including staffing, training, inspections, productivity, scheduling, inventory management, guest satisfaction, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend time both managing operations and supporting your team on the floor. Recruit, train, coach, and mentor housekeeping team members. Conduct performance discussions, coaching, and accountability conversations.

Operations Management

Oversee all housekeeping operations including guestrooms, public spaces, laundry, and staff housing areas where applicable. Ensure rooms are cleaned efficiently while maintaining quality standards.



Manage room readiness and occupancy demands during peak periods.

Quality Assurance

Conduct inspections and quality audits. Monitor guest feedback and address housekeeping-related concerns. Labour & Productivity Management Identify operational efficiencies while maintaining service standards.

Inventory & Cost Control Manage department inventory levels and ordering processes. Control expenses and reduce waste. Maintain proper storage and inventory procedures. Support ongoing health and safety training.

Maintain compliance with workplace safety, chemical handling, and housekeeping procedures. Actively participate in safety initiatives and inspections. Previous hotel housekeeping leadership experience.

Strong coaching and employee development skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems.

Housekeeping

Manager experience within a hotel or resort workplace.

Experience with labour forecasting and productivity management. Knowledge of staff housing operations considered an asset. Build a stable and engaged housekeeping team. Improve productivity while protecting quality. Successfully manage seasonal staffing fluctuations.
