Human Resources Business Partner Brickeye leverages the power of data from construction to drive risk mitigation and productivity gains. We protect construction projects from avoidable loss, reduce the total cost of risk, and help asset owners, general contractors, and insurers deliver projects on time and on budget.
We have been successful doing more with less, and now face a need to grow our team, expand our product innovation, and scale our commercial efforts to capitalize on demand. We are keen to address this bottleneck and invest strategically in our greatest asset: our people. HR Business Partner who can step in at this critical inflection point to architect our HR strategy.
Your mission will be to recruit top‑tier talent, manage HR operations and ensure they are aligned with our business goals, implement strategic performance management to elevate the output of our existing employees, and ensure our culture scales successfully as we grow. Work closely with hiring managers to determine skill gaps on their teams and assist in effective recruitment strategies.
Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
Lead HR Processes: Lead core HR processes such as performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
Educate and coach managers on employee development and performance management offering expertise in areas such as employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.
Guide Learning & Development:
Partnering with Managers to understand learning & development needs to enhance training and career development programs.
Ensure Great In‑Office Experience: Oversee the in‑office experience and upkeep with support from our Finance & Operations Coordinator.
Work with the team to manage the employee lifecycle experience, including onboarding, offboarding, time/off and leaves.
Ensure Legal Compliance: Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable policy and process revisions, supporting HR employment audits, and completing any required reporting.
3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent.
2+ years experience working in Talent Acquisition.
Good grasp of HRM techniques and excellent people management skills.
Familiarly with a variety of HR analytics techniques.
Strong HR skills, but also a deep understanding of business principles.
Bonus: Any experience in IoT or construction technology.
Work on a proprietary platform leveraging construction IoT to directly tackle the $1.5 trillion in annual risk and loss in the built environment.
