This role is focused on CAD design, including 2D & 3D as well as change management for both current products and current products.

Design tasks for assigned H2 & CNG projects, from concept CAD generation through to production release using SolidWorks Create & process engineering change orders via change management system Provide technical support to purchasing, production, customer service and quality assurance Promote Westport’s H&S; culture following all Environmental,



and H&S; procedures and understanding your obligations and responsibilities Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology Minimum two years of SolidWorks experience is mandatory.

Product Data

Management (PDM) system experience such as SolidWorks EPDM is an asset Experience with design of high-pressure components/valves/actuators is considered an asset Understanding of industry & regulatory requirements is considered an asset Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive experience is an asset Places importance on attention to detail and maintaining high-quality standards Capable of working in a pro-active manner with minimal supervision Good mechanical aptitude and hands on skills considered an asset Experience with design of high-pressure components/valves/actuators is considered an asset Understanding of industry & regulatory requirements is considered an asset
