As a Fisheries & Aquatics Specialist, your role is crucial for project completion involving oil & gas and renewable energy sectors.
We seek candidates with comprehensive knowledge in aquatic assessments, species identification, and construction monitoring. The role requires a commitment to safety, along with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues while performing in challenging conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental data collection and construction monitoring
- Lead junior staff in field data collection and safety
- Oversee fish salvage and habitat assessments
- Collaborate on multi-disciplinary project teams
- Complete required administrative tasks and reporting
Requirements:
- 5-9 years of experience in environmental consulting
- Degree in biological sciences or related fields
- Qualified Biologist designation or ability to achieve
- Relevant certifications (Electrofishing, Crew Lead)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
