RVA is looking for a Hydraulic Modeler to join our Urban and Riverine System team in a full‑time position at our Toronto office.

Develop, calibrate, and maintain hydraulic models for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Perform infrastructure planning and assessment studies, including Municipal Class EA, Master Plans, Basement flooding, capacity analysis, and system optimization. Work collaboratively on diverse projects involving model development, calibration, and system analysis to assess system performance and identify practical solutions and strategies for system optimization and improvement.

Support various groups across the company with hydraulic modelling and analysis and develop models to determine sound solutions for various private and municipal projects and clients. Support proposal development, including write‑up, project schedule, and fee estimation. Provide technical guidance to junior staff in performing their tasks.

Prepare technical memorandums and reports. Perform other engineering and modelling tasks as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field, from an accredited post‑secondary institution. ~ 3‑7 years of progressive experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater systems modelling and analysis. ~ Aptitude for meeting project schedules and budgets. ~ Strong skills in planning, writing,



and reviewing technical reports and related documentation. ~ Working knowledge of GIS tools. ~ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
